Applying mixed methods including algorithmic auditing, participatory action, popular education, and data analysis, we learn and tell the stories we need to know about tech's true harms, risks, and benefits.

In partnership with community technology and mutual aid groups, we support learning about and building emergency-ready communications infrastructure. Through build workshops, network development, and digital archive products, we help communities prepare for climate and social crises.

We partner with small businesses seeking to use new and advanced technologies ethically to power creativity while reducing operations churn, helping them develop mission-aligned organizational tech infrastructure. Our superpower is to discern appropriate, intentional applications of technology to support the work that matters most. We work with you to strategize innovative, humane, and practical ways to rethink participation in polluting and extractive technical infrastructure and data exchange.
